A product similar to NICs (procured at Sam's Club at significant savings)
was used to create the remaining walls.
Sheets were prepared in advance, using plastic connectors. All seams and joints were reinforced using nylon cable ties. Tie ends were removed using a handy-dandy nifty nylon tie tool available wherever nylon ties are sold. |

One panel of 5 x 3 grids was used to make the left wall. This was connected to a smaller panel of grids (2 x 3) which acted as the forward wall. The remaining 3 x 3 panel of grids was set aside to be used as the unit's gate. | |

PVC tubing was previously cut, assembled and spraypainted in an outdoor location. It was disassembled and brought on site. PVC was attached to the panels using nylon cable ties. The PVC legs at the center of each wall were connected to the 2 x 4 base using pipe clamp. The back corner PVC was similarly attached to the upper part of the back wall. Here again, screws were sawn off at the back. |

The gate was created by attaching PVC frame
to the existing grid. A separate PVC pipe was screwed into the base and
adhered to the wall using pipe clamp.
A hinge was created using nylon cable ties at regular intervals down the length of the gate and pipe. It is very important that the PVC legs extend to the floor as they provide stability for the gate which might otherwise sag and break the hinge. The gate is secured to the front wall by means of a chain and clip mechanism. However, any sort of doorstop/lock may be used. |

Finally, the entire unit was pushed back into the corner lot. It was swept and vacuumed. Construction then began on the next unit which is identical in every respect to this one. Note to prospective builders: at this point, the unit walls can be fastened to the room walls by means of metal brackets. |

Warning: this structure has been built to
rabbit code, not human code. It will withstand the weight and force of
bunnies, but not human adults or children. It is not strong enough to be
leaned on.
The gate requires only a gentle pressure to open and close it. Brute force may damage it and is excessive. |
