note that all our housing suggestions presume you have litter-box trained
bunnies. For more information about litterboxes and bunnies, see the Ask
Beaker portion of this site:

We have experimented with a number of different building materials. Our
favorite remains Neat Idea Cubes (NICs). Check out this site for lots of
great information.:
members.aol.com/bunrabtoo/neatcubs.html Coroplast (corrugated plastic) makes a great waterproof and sanitary floor (just be sure the edges are out of reach of bunny teeth! It is available in large sheets through the manufacturer and wholesalers. Investigate the price before you buy, as sign manufacturers sell it at a huge premium. Look here for information about using Coroplast: www.cavycages.com If you're handy with a saw, you can always build a wooden home. Just be sure the interior space is washable. I have used stick-on vinyl floor tiles and they are wonderful. You can get them cheap if your bunnies aren't particular about the design. Another easy option is a baby pen or puppy pen enclosure. You will have to line the bottom to protect your floor/carpet. And you may need to provide some type of roof if your bunnies are jumpers or you have micro-humans (as we do) who like to shower toys and things down on the bunnies' heads. |

Please spay and neuter
your pets. They'll live longer and be happier. |
